Bring The Spa & Salon Home In 4 Easy Steps

Taking time out to pamper yourself is a must in my book. With all that I have on my plate, I need a spa day, an escape… some me time.  This is why I was so excited when I was given the opportunity to try out Conair’s latest hair and skincare products; the Infiniti Pro by Conair 3Q Styling Tool & True Glow by Conair Sonic Skincare Solution!

Having a relaxing day of pampering, doesn’t have to cost an arm & a leg! Especially now that I can enjoy this experience more so in my own home, with two new Conair products!

My 4 Easy Steps To Bringing The Spa & Salon Home

STEP 1: A Bath..My spa routine will start with creating a calming bath. And nothing relaxes me more than soaking my stresses away with some aroma oils, while listening to some relaxing music, and let’s not forget about enjoying a glass of wine!

STEP 2: Skincare...Once you have soaked your stresses away, it’s time to cleanse & exfoliate that skin! This time around I was able to treat my skin with the True Glow® Sonic Skincare Solution brush, (while I was still in the tub as it Waterproof and safe for use)! This little bad boy has two brush heads, for the face & body making it very handy!  So, without irritation, it unclogged pores and washed away the embedded dirt and oil that can cause breakouts, blackheads, and dull, patchy, old-looking skin. STEP 3: Hair... Treating my hair to an invigorating shampoo & deep conditioner, to keep my tresses healthy is a must. 

• First,  I start with a good scalp soaking; you want to make sure that you get all the areas ensuring you are removing all the dirt!
• Next, I use a Sunday Shampoo, to detox my hair and rid any product residue, build up, etc.
• To get the full spa experience, you want to scrub your scalp gently in small circles, this will also help to loosen any styling products or loose skin. Rinse with luke warm water for at least 1 minute.
• A Deep Conditioner:  Restoring your hairs moisture is important, and it isn’t that difficult. There are a lot of great products out there that you can use for an at home treatment, just make sure your get one that will fit your hair needs. 

 How To Apply:

• You want to apply the conditioner near the halfway mark of your hair first and then move towards the ends of your hair.  
• Apply the rest from your roots to your tips.
• Put your conditioned hair in a shower cap or wrap it in saran wrap, this will help to set the product in.
• Let the conditioner sit for about 10-30 minutes 
• Apply heat.  This is where I used the Pro by Conair 3Q Styling Tool. (3Q™ stands for Quick, Quiet, and Quality).   Using a hair dryer to heat up the conditioner will allow it to absorb into your hair more easily.  I used the Conair Pro dryer on a low setting as you don’t want to get the shower cap to hot, as it could melt.
• Lastly, remove the shower cap and rinse your hair with cool water.  After this, you want to gently towel dry your hair, add a heat protectant and then blow dry your hair.  

STEP 4: Drying & Styling My Hair

Step 1: I don’t always fix my hair, but when I do, I like it curly! So, to make sure that my hair looks voluminous I always start off with a great hair dryer, like the Pro by Conair 3Q Styling Tool.

Step 3: Add a volumizing spray and some tea tree oil to the hair.

Step 4: Section your hair, to blow dry. Depending on your hair's style or length the way you dry it can vary.   Therefore, I am not going to go into how to blow dry the hair.

Lastly, when I curl my hair, I set the curls with cool air, so it was a bonus when I was able to use the locking true cold shot button to set my curls in place. My tip, you always dry with heat and set with cool!
