Everyone loves a bargain makeup, especially one that stands above the rest. An everyday I seem to be more impressed with the e.l.f. line as it is starting to shine above. So today, I wanted to share with you my newest e.l.f. find, which is e.l.f. Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer. I was really impressed with the quality of this product, so much so I think that it is a close makeup dupe to a few primers, including Smashbox Photofinish, (which costs 6 times the amount of the e.l.f. Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer)
If you follow my blog you know my thoughts on primers, they are a must. Without them, your makeup will sit in your pores, create false wrinkles, while leaving a dull appearance...period! On the other hand when you do use a primer, you'll find that your foundation will have a much smoother finish, while minimizing the appearance of pores and fine lines. Unfortunately, I know that isn't enough for some to go and make the purchase on a department store brand; although primers increase the longevity of your makeup, hence saving you money! Therefore, I hope that this e.l.f. Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer dupe find will convince some to see...it's time to prime!
Check out the video below to see how e.l.f. recommends you use this product.
In the process of writing this post I got an email from e.l.f. on a limited time primer that has SPF, the e.l.f. Studio SPF 20 Face Primer! I have just ordered this and wanted to share with you the link, so you can too! And if that wasn't enough, you can also get $10 off your purchase now + $10 later, see details below.

Confessions of a Secret Shopper
Definitely want to try this one now! Curious if it leaves your face feeling oily or anything as time goes on? I have combination skin, oily in the t-zone, and I've tried primers that left me slimy after a while.
ReplyDeleteNot as time goes on, but when you apply it, it does have a silky feeling that could appear oily if you are not using the correct foundation or powder for oily skin. Personally, I prefer a dewy look as it makes your skin look younger. But honestly for $6 it's worth a try.
DeleteThis has really given me a push to start using primer. I`ve tried it on and off before and never found it to make a difference but perhaps I just haven't found the right one for me?!
ReplyDeleteI did recently try a sample of a Laura Mercier primer which I did think worked well but it was a little more than I'd like to spend
Thanks for linking up with #SundayBest!
