Here is a great cure that my mom used when we were kids, and with all of this rain, I think we need to get rolling with this one.
Ailment: A swollen irritated mosquito bite.
Cure: Roll-on Antiperspirant. Yes, you read right! If you're in the pits with an itchy skeeter bite, pull out your antiperspirant and dab it on your pit BITE!
Why does this work? Antiperspirant contains aluminum salts that assist to absorb the fluid in the bite, helping to lessen the itching and decrease the swelling.
TGIF
lovelies! Today’s post is going to be a first of a bi-weekly series on my
much-lovedbeauty products. I’ve had a
lot ask me what are my favorite skin-care
products, eyeshades, hair products and more. Therefore, I’ve decided that I will share a love with you every other
week. This week’s obsession is instant long
lashes at the blink of an eye, with…
A Heated Eye Lash
Curler
About: I use all kinds of methods to achieve long
lashes, but this is one of my favorites loves.Unlike traditional eye lash curlers that when not used correctly can
pinch your eyelids or pull out your lashes, this one is fool proof. It curls in seconds lifting and curling the
lashes with heat.Simply turn it on and
use as if you are putting on mascara.Unlike
a traditional non heated, eyelash curlers where using mascara is not a good
idea. You can use this one before or after mascara application, definitely
worth lashing out about!
Is it safe? Yes it is.Prior to using this, I used to heat up my
eyelash curler with a quick blast of warm hair from the hair dryer, which can
sometimes be risky if you’re in a hurry. The, is quick and safe!
I
think I could start an eBay store with all of these nail polish I’ve accumulated over the years and this past month for my A-Z nail
polish name's series. However, prior to tossing some of the old
polishes that had sat in my drawer for years, I decided to see if there
were any O.P.I. dupes. Some of the polishes nailed it with similarity,
while others were darker, finishes varied and some the consistence was
different. Overall, the search was harder than I anticipated, an,
although I hate to admit this, some polishes were old, so it was hard to
tell the actual color. None the less, I was able to find enough
colors, one for each nail, for this Mani Monday post.
