Sorry, I haven’t posted much in the last 2 weeks I’ve
been testing out some alternative eye shadows and lipsticks. You see I have been an avid MAC fan. My love for this product lies more so with
the eye colors, primarily because they are heavily pigmented. I’m one that likes to get ready once, and
wants to look pretty much the same by the end of the day. MAC eye shadows have allowed me to do
that. My eye shadows have even lived through
a Rob Zombie concert outside in 90 plus degree weather. So why a dupe?
As mentioned, I’ve been sent a lot of products to
test, and have found some cosmetics that have surprised me, including drug
store finds. Which lead me to this post…
MAC duped by Wet n Wild. Below is a
combination of some of my own tries as well as some I found via, Pinterest. So without further ado …
Lipstick Dupes
MAC Wet n Wild
Port Red Geisha's Kiss
Jazzed 903C
Rebel Sugar Plum
Brave New Bronze Bare It All
Eye Shadow Dupes
MAC Wet n Wild
Brule Brulee
Expensive Pink Penny
Fresh Water Lagoon
Humid Cool As Water
In conclusion, I
was surprised how happy I was with some of the Wet n Wild products. I saw more
differences in the shadows then lip color.
Shadows that were not up to par I did not list, as I tried many others
that were suggested on Pinterest. The
lipsticks on the other hand were great! And. hey there is always one Wet n Wild
product that I’ve used since high school and to this day, love it!!! Lip liner 666. It works splendidly with most
lip colors, both as a liner and as a base, it is a must try!
Well lovelies that's it for now. Once I get through experimenting with the rest, I'll share my findings.
Any Dupes you want to share, if so let me know!

I've never tried Wet n Wild. Maybe I should :)
ReplyDelete(Btw, there's a fun water park in Orlando that is called that. It was the first thing I thought of, hehe.)

This is a first for me to this extreme. I tried a lot more eye colors during this experiment so to speak, but they didn't stay on all day, like the MAC. It depends on what you want from your makeup. None the less, thanks for stopping by!

Most certainly. Following you too, happy Sunday to you and your family!
DeleteWet n Wild are pretty good, but nothing beats MAC on the pigment scale for eyeshadows.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am partial to the MUA Heaven & Earth pallet, for £4 you can't really complain for everyday makeup :)

I agree MACs pigment is superb! Lipstick dupes are a much closer match! But none the less all is fun, especially if we can save some $$$

I love a good dupe! Can't beat saving some pennies. Lagoon does look really similar to Fresh Water :)

Thanks for leaving a comment, I greatly appreciate it. Saving money to buy more, but of course it's all in a days beauty! The Lagoon match was the best one I've tried thus far. I'll keep you posted as I trying out some more.

I would love to see if you can find a dupe for Nicki Minaj's new lavender MAC lipstick!
ReplyDeleteI love this post! Its so helpful!!! I just started a blog and your blog is really inspiring for me! Do you have any tips about blogging? Also are the wetnwild shadows very pigmented?
ReplyDeleteIf a dupe is good enough, why not. I agree though that nothing beats MAC so far as pigments are concerned. I've tried a few Wet n Wild but nothing that I stuck to. Thanks for the heads up on these dupes.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to buy Expensive Pink for awhile now to go with my MAC's Vex. A MAC make-up artist showed me to put Vex in the inner corner fo my eye and Expensive pink on the outer corner and to blend it together. So I'll have to check out Wetn Wild's Penny! Thank you for the dupes!
ReplyDeleteWet n Wilds Fergie colors are actually pretty good, and you tried these?
