Happy Monday Lovelies’!
To start off the week, I’m going to share with you some
short but sweet makeup
tips to achieve a glamorous eye.
BB Bit 1: For The Smokey, Eye Look: To get the best smokey eye, it is important to prime both
your eyelid and lower lash line, basically all areas that you will place your
makeup, you should also place primer.
BB Bit 2: Ensuring Your Fake Eye Lashes Are The Right Size: To get the best look, you want to make sure
that your fake eyelashes are the correct size prior to applying glue. You can do this by placing the eyelash on
your lash line starting from the outside in.
If the eyelash is too long, you want to cut it from the outer corner (the
longer area), to the appropriate size.
BB Bit 3: You Don’t Have To Be Perfect: I bet you’re glad to read that, aren’t you? As I’m sure a lot of women would agree, one
of the most difficult things to accomplish when using fake eyelashes is making
sure they are perfectly in place. This
is hard, especially if you only use lashes occasionally. However, I have a great tip for you: Prior to positioning your lashes, you want to
put eyeliner on your eye, as close to the lash line as possible. By doing this
you will help to hide any imperfections. For example, you’ve applied your eyelash and there
is a small gap between the fake eyelashes and your real ones, where you can see
skin or shadow. But, if you’ve placed
eyeliner here prior, you will see the black, hence camouflaging your
mistake. I would also suggest, after
your lashes are applied, to go back over with more liquid liner, covering any
glue or additional gaps.
BB Bit 4: When To Apply Your Lashes: After you have situated the eyelash glue, whether on your lash line or on the fake eyelash itself, it is imperative that you wait
for the glue to dry a bit before arranging the lash. The glue should be tacky, as wet glue will
not stick as easy, causing your lashes to move around.
BB Bit 5: Ensuring Your Eyelashes Will Stay in Place: To do this you want to apply more glue to the
ends of your fake eyelashes, as this is where it seems to lift most.
Until next time!
These are some great tips! I've been using false eyelashes for quite a few years now and it took a long time for me to get used to putting them on, you definitely have to keep practising! x

Great tips!! Especially the one about lining your eyes before you put the lashes on to camouflage mistakes and the reminder to put primer under your eyes as well as above .. both of these tips are very useful and things most of us normally forget to do!:) Xo!
