Halloween has past and Thanksgiving is around the corner, and that means it’s time for a great autumn renewal, with some good ole pumpkin! I’m sure your thoughts of pumpkin are for fun to carve a jack-o-lantern, or some pumpkin puree to fill in a pie crust, but it is also rich of nutrients and antioxidants that can replenish, soften, and purify your skin.
Furthermore, pumpkin is high in zinc, vitamin C, vitamin E, beta carotene, and vitamin A.
So not only is it great to eat, it helps fight free radicals when used on the skin. Check
out below, a great spa recipe, to fall for this season!
HOW TO:
HOW TO:
- What you’ll need; Pumpkin puree, cream, egg whites, and honey.
- Combine 1 medium portion of a pumpkin and blend till there are no lumps.
- Add egg whites from 2 eggs, with 2/3 cup of cream & an ½ tablespoon of honey, blend all ingredients until it is smooth and creamy
- Apply mixture to your face (resist licking it), and leave on for 15 mins.
- Rinse with water and pat dry.
